A Year of Unprecedented Challenges

As we continue our journey into 2024, we at Grace Tea remain steadfast in our commitment to the Ukrainian people, who have faced unparalleled challenges in 2023. Thousands of civilians have been killed or injured, and civilian infrastructure has been deliberately targeted, leading to widespread disruption of livelihoods and displacement for millions. As of 2024, a staggering 14.6 million people, approximately 40% of the population, are in need of humanitarian assistance in Ukraine. Homes were destroyed, families were torn apart, and many were forced to flee their beloved homeland, seeking safety and refuge. The physical and emotional toll of this conflict on the Ukrainian people has been heart-wrenching.

Our Response to the Crisis

Despite all the challenges, the kindness of our donors has been very encouraging. Together, we’ve raised a remarkable $108,130.31 in donations last year, bringing the grand total to $416,150.07 (from the beginning of the war). This incredible support has been instrumental in providing much-needed relief and assistance to those affected by the war.

We take pride in ensuring that every dollar you donate goes directly to the victims of this conflict. All administrative and overhead costs are covered entirely by our directors and their friends, ensuring that 100% of your contributions go to those who need it most in Ukraine (the only exception is the 3% fee that banks charge for processing credit card transactions when you donate).

We've Been Busy (Even If We've Been Quiet)

We know you haven't seen many updates from us on the blog lately, and that's mainly because there haven't been any major new developments to report. But rest assured, our work hasn't slowed down. We're still collaborating with the same amazing partners on the ground in Ukraine, who are tirelessly helping their fellow Ukrainians through these incredibly tough times. They're doing some truly incredible work out there.
